| Born on Hapes to Cereza, a Miralukan Diplomat, and Llewen Jaxx, a Tradesman, Serah was raised in secret with her twin sister Suri, since their parents' love was forbidden by the Hapan side ofthe family.
Tragedy happened when the sisters were seven year old. Her father took her to a place of safety on Uyter, promising to come back, which he did a few times before he was killed.
Serah never met her family again, longing to reunite with her twin she believes is still out there. The family of farmers who had been sheltering her thankfully decided to adopt her as their own.
Now fourteen, Serah had helped at the farm since she arrived there. Due to her Miraluka genes, her eyes are useless and she has altered perceptions of her surroundings thanks to her gift in the Force, though it has never been trained. The Kleors always told her to keep it quiet too so she wouldn't get in trouble if discovered.
Unable to do precise work that required detailed vision, Serah learned to hunt animals and protect the lands. Her hearing and sensations allowed her to be trained to help that way.
