During her teenage years, Baska became a bounty hunter, doing everything it took to survive, make money and enjoy life in between challenging hunts. She eventually met Denart Baschorn, a fellow bounty hunter with whom she fell in love. In her early twenties, a tragedy hit her and Denart, as well as their daughter she was pregnant with, died in a bomb attack. Baska barely made it out alive, and the pain and anger she felt made her close to lose her mind.

She caught a Dark Side Master's interest during a random travel. Koron Ageros took her under his wing and molded her for more than a decade. The man was passionate with history so she accompanied him to ruins and places of power, often killing for him ahead if artifacts and relics were owned by others or had been stolen.

Her mentor eventually grew softer in that he questioned their ways, she killed him. His last words to her was that she had gone beyond where he had once been, tacitly making her a master before he gave his last breath.

While Baska travels a lot, she has established a hidden residence on the mysterious Iego, where she notably keeps the growing collection of Sith artifacts and tomes she has compiled over the years. She often travels aboard the Ruby Wolf.

One day, Baska found out that her daughter's corpse had been stolen by her former Master, and embarked on a journey to find answers. This led her to her mentor's planet of origin, Sillesk. There she found not only leads to where her daughter had been taken post resuscitation, but she also met Admiral Rigel Bismarck. The Sith Master eventually found a young Heyrina on Bellataine. Baska reconnected with her estranged mother and met her younger sister Seraphine. The family reunion was cut short for Heyrina eventually developed health issues, and the Sith alchemy and assorted experiments that had brought her back to life generated health issues. Baska took her daughter back to Sillesk and with the Admiral's support and the assistance of an imperial scientist, they were able to stabilize Heyrina after a great growth spur that took her to adolescence. Baska agreed to place Heyrina in her family's care on Albaryn so she could recover and adjust to the new life, although she promised to stay in touch. While it was a difficult decision for Baska who had believed her daughter dead for years, she knew it was the best option for her.

Owing Bismarck for his help, Baska helped take care of some strange security issues, especially concerning a rogue Force user. Eventually earning each other's respect, Baska and Bismarck worked together on a couple of occasions and the Admiral eventually introduced her to Empress Miranda Tarkin, following the assassination attempt against her, for he believed that Baska could be an asset to the Empire.

Baska now serves as the Empress's Hand and helps mentoring her in the dark ways.
