Service Chief Ryder Cross joined the Systems Alliance as soon as he was able to on his 18th birthday.
Assigned to the Alliance Marines, he served in the 14th Regiment of the 10th Frontier Division on Nepmos. After being reassigned to a ship-board regiment where he took part in the Thesbaca Raids against various pirate groups.
His experience against pirate groups has given Ryder experience of facing many of the various alien species of the galaxy in combat.
