Physical Appearance

Having been raised poor it was always conveniant to dress comfortably and, almost in a way, sloppy and perhaps neglected. Style never really being an important part of Jesimae's personality, she has made herself stand-out amongst those around her to give her tomboyish garb a much needed feminine touch. Her hair being naturally brown she sometimes plays with colors and hair styles that might fit her mood or job. Feeling like her big brown eyes are her best attribute she sometimes plays up the color with certain cosmetics, although she rarely feels the need to put any on. Her natural beauty has gone unrecognized by Jesimae for she considers herself plain and just one of the "guys".

Basic Nature and Perceptions

Jesimae is very aware of how she is viewed both to the outside world and in her own mind. Knowing that she is very comfortable in her own skin she rarely feels the need to change for anyone which, sometimes, has worked both in and out of her favor. Exuding a confidence she feels that she is mainly level headed and usually knows how to handle situations, but her hard headedness sometimes does more harm than good. Although generous and accepting, Jesimae sometimes has a hard time getting along with people due to her internal fears of being abandoned and conned and can lead to certain actions that are viewed as irrational and even psychotic.

Backstory

A young, ambitious bounty hunter before her 15th birthday.

Pre-Lawson

Being born into a family of Government Radicals, Jesimae's life was doomed for hardships from the beginning. Lillian and Jacob Phoenix birthed two little girls who they appropriately named Jesimae and Jazlynn Phoenix. Living as a radical within a community of those like themselves, laws and sacrifices were to be made prior to the beginning. A law having been put in place to keep down fatalities in the households of Radicals, two children were only allowed. Having already given birht to a boy, named Jabari, they were to choose between the set. Having been the lucky one chosen, Jesimae's time with her father and mother were short lived and not even memorable. Shorlty after coming home from the hospital, one year later, the two parents were killed by a car bomb while on their way to celebrate their anniversary.

Growing up with her brother, Jesimae followed in his footsteps and considered him to be her savior and her role model. Being poor and alone the two grew up much too fast and were taking on odd jobs at very young ages. Jabari being eight years older than Jesimae he would leave his baby sister with a neighbor while he worked as a bounty hunter getting big money very quickly. As Jesimae grew older she began to take on responsibilities as a wife, keeping the house clean, cooking dinner, paying bills, while Jabari went out and worked. When money was good the two would spend endless hours with each other, trying to homeschool one another and teach each other whatever they could, but her interests were very limited, Jesimae loved only what Jabari loved.

Having this newfound fan, Jabari began to teach her about weapons, fighting, and other aspects of the bounty lifestyle. But they time Jesimae was ten, Jabari being 18, they were soon fighting alongside each other as bountiers.

Jesimae was naturally a good shot, her brother stating that guns were 'in her veins'. She climbed the ladder much quicker than her elder, and was soon taking on high end jobs, hunting down men and women alike all across the galaxy for credits unmatched by anyone. Word got out of how reliable and quick she was Jesimae soon began working for an organized group of bountiers, taking jobs to kill wealthy people even so far as to killing Government officials.

There she met and befriended a man by the name of Deacallion, a pale blonde man with a shady personality and even shadier past who was ten years older than she. Work being her top priority she failed to requite the love that had formed while working with Deacallion, but somehow the two managed to remain close friends even moving into an apartment together alongside her brother, who also was a friend of Deacallion's. By the time she was 14, Jesimae had over 200 kills and things were suddenly taking a turn. Jesimae was becoming one of the most sought after criminals and was becoming the galaxies most wanted human. Alluding officials for a year, the three friends moved from place to place under false names, work was becoming hard due to not being able to be contacted, money was going fast, and soon Deacallion left on a year-long mission, but that was just one hard blow to the Phoenix family.

At the age of 15, after spending every moment with one another, Jesimae's most beloved, her brother, went out on a hit and never returned. Days passed and Jabari didn't return, she soon abandoned her lifestyle of bountying to find her lost sibling. But she was never able to find him. Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, and soon after a year Deacallion came to her aid and the two began to search, however tales were told of Deacallion's downfall and his beckoning to the darkside of life. Jesimae learned that Deacallion was not who he had once been. Becomming involved in a corrupt world of violence and conspiracy, even high Government officials being a part of, Jabari knowing of the existence lead to his untimely death, but worst of all dying at the hands of Deacallion himself.

Knowing Deacallion killed her brother she ruthlessly went after him, telling the police of his wrongdoings and, after watching an interrogation between the two, they set him free do to nothing being said. Thus, Jesimae took it amongst herself to avenge her brother. She shot and set him on fire and supposedly killed him. Despite the revenge, Jesimae then took it upon herself to find the remains of her brother, which ended up taking over her life.

Post-Lawson

As time passed Jesimae managed to get back on her feet by getting rich by gambling, while still searching for her brother. However, as fate would have it, she was attacked by her long lost enemy Deacallion, but was saved by a young man named Jiro Lawson. Having escaped death, she was introduced to the Nihongo District and culture, but better yet the brother of her savior named Taro Lawson, but love at first sight did not dull any of the problems that the three faced. After defeating Decallion in a warehouse after spending a week together, Jesimae immediately fell in love with Taro and consumated the requited love after being together for such a short period. But much like their luck, not all was well. Jesimae soon received a letter from an unknown stating they knew where her brother was and to come to Naboo.

The threesome ended up following the coordinants given and were soon faced with the realization that a 10 year search was for nothing. Her brother had been live and well and the sender of the letter. However, the brother she knew was now a hard hearted man who lived for wealth and power, having been drawn to the same crime life as Deacallion. Despite the hostile atmosphere and the hatred Jabari had for her undying love for him, a lighter side was shown through his wife Mei-li Yeh and her daughter, who had been named after Jesimae.

Threats were exchanged and soon a small war broke out in the Phoenix household and Jabari was killed by Taro after Jabari almost mortally wounded Jiro.

Heading back to Coruscant the two were met with more hardships. Picking up a spunky mechanic named Orange Diren proved to be difficult who was quick to get into a long 'on-again off-again' relationship with Jiro and caused rifts in the brother's relationship, which led to serious problems within Jesimae and Taro's relationship. At one point it was almost ended when the foursome were attacked in the Lawson home by a man named Aiden Glen and his counterpart Mr. Lawson. Escaping justice, Aiden fled, however the family tied up the blue-eyed maniac, only to learn he was a long lost brother named Haruko Lawson. Still, more ensued. The uncovering of other family members tested the relationship between Jesimae and Taro, especially when more friends were made and more relationships formed. Drama with Orange and Jiro always caused rifts in the family especially when Jesimae was friends with her, a sudden secretive crush on Haruko caused internal issues with Jesimae, Haruko getting help for his alter-ego by finding solice in a Hispanic practitioner named Asher Perez, who soon became his girlfriend, a dying father wanting to see his sons again, and almost the loss of Taro completely after a drug overdose. Yet, somehow, Jesimae and Taro's relationship prevailed and the two were quickly wed.

Despite the moment of peace they had after the untimely death of the Lawson's father, as well as the emotional trip they took to see him, more horrors were lurking as the Government found the location of Jesimae and forced the newlyweds to flee. To add fuel to the fire, a woman was following them to get a bounty on Jesimae's head. Following the couple to a drifter colony for fleeing criminals, Jesimae was almost killed by the young woman, and also caused the miscarriage of Taro and Jesimae's first child.

Still more uncoverings were to come, especially when they realized the Lawson's mother was not dead, but on the colony en route to meet them on Coruscant, and newfound enemies.

Family & Friends

Jesimae's life has been full of loneliness and loss. Her newfound family is what keeps her happy, aside from the love of her life. After her parents dying, her brother disappearing for ten years, and her only friend Deacallion turning evil, the stability with the Lawson's and those who have been found on the way are what keeps her going, despite the dysfunction.
