Jace Harriman is a British citizen, but was born on the island of Malta in the Mediterranean. He is a qualified Barister working for the Crown Prosecution Service, and resides in London with his wife and infant daughter; until recently, their home was also shared by his younger sister - Katrina Harriman - to whom Jace was legal guardian for several years.

In June 2009, Jace Harriman was attacked twice by mutants. The first time - by a masked assassin - was a ploy to lure his father out of hiding. The second was by the same man who killed his father, and was actually successful in killing Jace as well. Fortunately, an unidentified mutant visited him in the morgue and revived him: Jace has been legally declared dead, and is currently in witness protection provided by Section 13.

History

The oldest and most sensible of the Harriman siblings, Jace is the only one who was born outside of the United Kingdom; specifically, in Malta. With his father constantly moved from place to place as the Royal Air Force posted him to new assignments, Jace never really grew up in a settled location: eventually, both he and his brother Tom were sent off to boarding school.

The most academically-committed of the group, Jace eventually went on to study Law at university, at one of London's most proliphic universities. While there he met his future wife Stephanie; he also served for a year as the President of the Student Union - Stephanie still refers to him as "Mr President" from time to time. After graduating, he an Stephanie married: shortly afterwards Jace's mother sadly died and, with their father's mental state in question, the couple agreed to become legal guardians of Jace's youngest sibling, Katrina, and remained as such throughout her teen years.

In October of the year Kat started at university, Jace's daughter Louise was born; by then, Jace was working for the Crown Prosecution Service. When MI5 was hit by cyber-terrorists, and aspects from his father's past resurfaced, Jace and his family were placed in danger: while Jace has now been briefed on the nature of Section 13, and does work with them on behalf of the Crown Prosecution Service as a result, he has yet to forgive his father for the secrets that risked his family.

Jace is almost completely estranged from his brother Tom; the two fell out over Tom's decision to move to America, and have not spoken since.

Powers / Abilities

Attractive Telekinesis - apparently the exact opposite of the Propulsive Telekinesis posessed by his younger brother, Jace has the ability to target individual items, and cause them to accelerate towards him. His brother speculates that there may be some sort of gravitational aspect to the ability, but is at a loss to explain why the ability is so apparently precise. Using his abilities rarely in order to avoid them being discovered, the only real applications that Jace has experimented with have been sports related - using his abilities to catch more easily during cricket games, to slingshot frisbees, and to otherwise give him an edge while competing against his brother.

Her Majesty's Secret Service - Jace is attacked and hospitalised by a mysterious sword-wielding mutant, leading to a revelation about his father's secret past.
