At first glance, Sarah Paisley appears to be a well-mannered and fairly unassuming Englishwoman, with a Doctorate in Psychology. Recently moved to Los Angeles, Sarah provides counselling services to children and young adults; and in particular to those in that age bracket struggling to come to terms with the discovery of their mutant x-gene.

However, despite her well-meaning experience, Sarah Paisley has a dark past that she guards very closely. She has ties with the mutant terrorist Hurucan and British agent Nathan Godfrey, and seems to have made it her mission to thwart the former and aid the latter. Her connection with either individual, to the Harriman family which she so regularly assists, or the Section 13 agency for whom Godfrey works, is currently unknown.
