Character Description

Evan's wardrobe is usually pretty causal, khakis and jackets, t-shirts and jeans. But he also wears business attire when he goes to see clients. His house wear is usually just exercise pants and capris, and shirtless. He is very modest, so he would ever be shirtless outside of his own home, and he doesn't wear any type of shorts.

His skin is fairly tan, and he also usually sports a five o'clock shadow. He has a few blemishes such as moles, freckles, etc. He also has a tattoo on his arm of a sun, and a tattoo on his shoulder blade of a celtic knot.

Basic Nature and Preceptions

Evan is an inherently good person. Having been brought up in a "hippie" type fashion, he has learned to deal with almost any character flaw, and find something to like about even the most annoying and stupid people. He loves people, and has always been very good with them. He likes to see people succeed and do well, and he likes to help them. However, his happiness is sometimes a cover for the pain and lonliness he has felt since he met his wife. Happiness is how he wants to look out at everyone, but when looking at himself, he sees only someone who has failed.

Perception of Self

Up until his wife was killed, Evan's perception of himself was generally good. Although he lacked the self-confidence most of his peers had acheived. He tended to turn a little in on himself, working with his sciences, maths, and business skills instead of trying to make friends. But his natural bubbliness and kindness brought people to him despite that.

After his wife died, Evan went through a foul stage of self-loathing. He blamed himself for many of the things that went wrong, even if they were not remotely his fault. He was never able to forgive himself for not being there to help his wife when she needed him the most. However, after several years, his nature has basically returned to how it had been when he was with his wife, bubbly, kind, big-hearted, and with an okay opinion of himself. Although he still has moments of hatred for himself, he has generally gotten through it.

Others Perceptions of Him

Others have always seen him as a kind man with a good heart. Although his temper can be bad, and in general don't want on his bad side. People are attracted to his sense of humor and his ability to relate to almost anyone. No one is ever at a loss for what to talk about, he is very good at keeping conversations alive.

However, his temper is a big put off for people. He often gets loud and a little violent when he is angry due to his feelings of being painted into a corner and not being able to get out--he has a very strong fight or flight reaction, and he more often than not chooses to fight. However, generally, everyone tends towards liking him over all.

Backstory

Living in loneliness can leave scars.

Born of two "peacemakers", Evan was a miracle child. His mother, who had been in an accident, had been told she would never be able to naturally have children. When she became pregnant with Evan by his father, she was overjoyed. The first of two children, and the only natural birth, Evan was a happy-go-lucky child, brought up to love nature and people, even when both could be cruel.

He grew up slightly sheltered on Naboo, attending a "New Age" school where life lessons were taught more often than knowledge. Evan, who was a very technical person, hated the school, and eventually, when he turned fourteen, transferred him to a more normal school where he excelled in math, science, life skills, and business. Art was never his forte, although he was good at reading and spelling, and picked up an insatiable urge to read.

When he was seventeen, his father died suddenly in the night of a massive aortic aneurysm. Evan, who was very close to his father, took the death the hardest. He and his mother got by however, and when Evan finished high school, he moved to another area of Naboo where he attended a business university. It was at university that his met his future wife, Annie Miller.

Evan's beloved wife.

Evan and Annie met in a business class she was taking as a requirement. A budding sculptor, she was no good with numbers or business like Evan was, but they immediately hit it off. Often eating lunch together and going places on the weekends, they both fell in love with one another almost immediately.

Together through their university experience, they wed soon after graduation, moving to a place on Naboo, where Evan started his own company, Christianson Ships and Supplies. His shop was small at first, but grew quickly, as his prices were much lower than most supply companies. He and Annie were unable to have their own children due to the fraility of Annie's pelvis, a disorder she inherited from her mother, who died giving birth to her.

It was devestating to the newlyweds who both loved and wanted children. However, Even would never have put Annie in danger, and they settled for caring for Evan's young cousins and family members.

Evan's business boomed and he and Annie moved to as bigger home on Naboo where Evan could work and Annie could sculpt. However, three years after their wedding, Annie, who had gone on a trip to see a friend and visit an art museum in the city, was involved in a hovertaki accident. Nothing was known on the scene, but an hour and a half after Evan was notified, and Annie was rushed to a hospital by medics, Evan was informed that his beloved wife had died due to extreme trauma to the head and lungs.

Evan was went into shock, and was hospitalized for a month afterwards for mental instability. However, he checked himself out after that time, and packed up their house on Naboo. He erased all traces of his life on Naboo and relocated his business to Tattooine, where he set up a shop near a large spaceport. His business there became even more successful. Even, however, spent many sleepless nights crying for his dead wife.

Nightmares kept him awake at night, and he soon developed chronic migraines due to the lack of sleep. His doctor visits were plentiful, and the bill was even more. His business began to suffer because of it, and for two years he had to go on hiatus so that he could get his feet back under him.

Evan went back to Naboo to tie up some loose ends before he was able to move back to Tattooine, where he reopened his business, this time under the name Christianson Ships Company. He was slowly able to move back into a normal life.

He has stayed basically single since the death of his wife, dating around every now and then. He has married himself to his work, rarely even making time for friends or family members, except the children in his dead wife's family, who call him family even still.

Seven years of a quiet living brought Evan to the realization that he needed to expand again. He moved back to Naboo for a few short months until he got the Naboo branch of his business open and running, and then, with some negotiation on his part, was able to solidify a place on Coruscant where he could open up a home base, as Coruscant would best supply the consumers he would need.

Mei-li Yeh, Evan's crush.

Getting the Tattooine branch under new management, he got all of his things together and started for Coruscant. However, on the way an unforseen problem with his ship occured, forcing him to land on a remote colony outside of Coruscant, until his ship could be fixed.

Deciding the take the time to reunite with his childhood best friend, his cousin Raife Christianson, Evan called him up to see where he was. Which happened to be on his way to the colony itself, for some personal business. However, waiting for his cousin proved to be very eventful, as he met the somewhat clumsy, but very much attractive Mei-li Yeh, a widow with a beautiful daughter. Inadvertantly, Evan developed a crush on her.

But when Raife arrived, with his husband, Lok Yeh, all proved not to be well. Raife and Mei-li immediately hated each other, due to the Raife's previous dealings with Mei-li's dead husband, Jabari.

Unsure of what is to go down, Evan finds himself more and more involved in the conflict between them, and also developing deeper feelings for the innocent Mei-li.
