Anoat Sector

The Anoat Sector is a political region of the Galactic Empire, located within the Greater Javin region of the Outer Rim Territories. Its political borders have shifted over time, particularly in recent years, but broadly speaking it encompasses the entirity of the Ivax Nebula, as well as several surrounding systems.

Prior to the Battle of Endor, it was admistrated as a separate Regional Sector, under the authority of an Imperial Moff. However, due to the shortage of reliable and qualified leaders in the aftermath of Endor, it was absorbed into a Greater Javin administrative region, under the purview of a single Moff. Because of a lack of adequate funding however, the Moff lacked the resources to effectively police the entire region, and so was forced to concentrate on the "priority worlds", leaving many of the less populated and industrial worlds of the Anoat Sector to succome to corruption, piracy, organized crime, and rebel activity.

In an effort to restore order and Imperial rule to the region, Admiral Travis North and a fleet of Star Destroyers were assigned to police the region, while Moff Ceto Rübezahl and Baroness Sanya Tagge attended to the political and social repair of the Sector.
