Biography
Aidan Fox is a powerful pyrokinetic mutant with a past shrouded in mystery. Though he may give the impression of someone trying to escape a past he would rather forget, no one so far who has checked into his background has been able to find solid evidence of his existence, let alone records of his actions.
Aidan arrived at the campus of Dr. Cullen's Institute for the Gifted during the summer of 2008 with the help of Banner Laverick. He was being pursued at the time by a pair of Astral demons who had somehow escaped the Astral Plane, but Francoise Dupont was able to repel the monsters. Aidan stayed at Cullen's until he managed to repair his motorcycle, and then he traveled west.
His travels took him to the Redención House in Los Santos. When he arrived, Anna Fernandez took him in as just another hard-luck case, but he took a profound interest in the safe house and decided to stay and help. His skills as a mechanic helped to keep the house's vehicles in working order while his job at a local garage covered his room and board. He also displayed a special affinity for helping young mutants learn to control and understand their abilities.
As the gang situation in Los Santos continued to deteriorate, Aidan began to take a more active role in the safe house's defense. With Jake Foley, he enlisted the help of the mutant gang La Raza to oust the mutant-phobic Tres Onces (Three Elevens) from the neighborhood. His idealistic views on mutant rights and his yet-unexplained tactical expertise have led Jake and Anna to wonder whether he was an expatriate of an extremist mutant group like the Brotherhood of Mutants.
Powers
Aidan can produce blue flames from his body at a limited range. However, in the presence of burnable fuel, Aidan can increase his abilities phenomenally. The more fuel he burns, the more powerful he becomes. He can shape and manipulate the flames with artistic precision, occasionally even creating flame-based attacks in the shape of animals or weapons for dramatic effect. The more fire he tries to control, the less precisely he can control it. When he overtaxes his abilities, he may succumb to symptoms similar to those of psychic fatigue: headaches, dizziness, severe exhaustion, and nosebleeds.
Aidan and, curiously, his clothes are completely immune to fire under his control. Aidan also has a high tolerance for capsaicin and favors inhumanly spicy foods, though it is unclear whether this is a side effect of his mutation.

Firefox: Aidan Fox, pursued by terrifying monsters from the Astral Plane, flees to the campus of Cullen's Institute for sanctuary with the help of Banner Laverick.

Come All Ye Weary: When a lycanthropic mutant is captured in Angeles National Forest, Aidan arrives to be an advocate for the teenaged boy and to offer him a home at Redención House.
