Dan Garrett
An archaeologist, who found a magical scarab in the tomb of Kha-Ef-Re. This artefact imbued him with enhanced abilities, which he used to become the Golden Age hero Blue Beetle.

Kha-Ef-Re
A minor Pharaoh during the 19th Dynasty. He possessed a scarab that imbued him with enhanced abilities. That scarab was found in his tomb by the archaeologist Dan Garrett, who used it to become the Golden Age hero Blue Beetle.
Khufu Kha-Tar
A prince during the 19th Dynasty of Ancient Egypt. One of the sons of Ramesses II (Ozymandias). He and his belovéd were murdered by Hath-Set as part of a ritual that trapped their souls in a cycle of reincarnation, forcing Khufu to suffer the pain of watching the woman he loves die lifetime after lifetime. His current reincarnated form is Carter Hall.
