The Aurora is a Dreadnaught-class Heavy Cruiser serving with the Alliance Navy. It is part of Task Force 42, led by Captain Soto Terius.

The Aurora is modified to accommodate a squadron of fighters: it carries twelve BTL-S3 Y-Wing Starfighters.
