Throughout the Galaxy, there are few individuals who can claim no knowledge of Miranda Tarkin. Grand-daughter to the legendary Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin, Miranda has risen through the ranks of the Imperial government quickly, in spite of the limitations typically imposed upon her gender. Although her career began as the Moff of the Doldur Sector, she soon began to develop a cult of personality beyond that of a mere governor. With her noble breeding, good looks and charm, she became known as the 'Face of the Empire' - a ubiquitous image of strength and prosperity for The Galactic Empire. By cultivating secret contacts within the Black Sun (through her lover Sorsha Kasajian) and a firm alliance with the Imperial Inquisitors, Moff Tarkin laid unshakable foundations for a rise to higher stations. Defying tradition, Miranda was elected to the position of Empress - and to celebrate her ascension, the Empress-class Star Destroyer was created in her name. Having escaped countless assassination attempts, and easily side-stepped the prejudices of her peers to attain a higher station, Empress Tarkin has a bright future ahead of her - once which includes wedding her childhood friend Gallus Tagge.
