The vigilante Orion is a mutant crimefighter operating in Los Angeles, who first appeared in the weeks following the introduction of the Mutant Registration Act.
His actions seem to reflect a desire to protect the innocent: he specifically targets violent crimes against young women, though is also believed to have thwarted a number of break-ins and thefts as well. Though apparently posessing a mutant ability believed to be telekinetic in nature, Orion primarily engages his opponents with archery and martial arts. An early signature of his activities was leaving behind one of his arrows - decorated with a star pattern matching the constellation Orion - as a calling card.
Orion is the secret vigilante identity of registered mutant Tom Harriman.
