R4-K8 or "Katie" is an R4-series Agromech Droid. Designed by Industrial Automation, she was built with a heavier focus on her Utility Droid functions, unlike other Droids in the R-series. As a result, though capable of calculating and storing Hyperspace coordinates, she is much better suited to serve as a ships' mechanic. In that capacity she has worked for her owner, Atton Kira aboard his ship - Iego Angel - and the Knightfall, aboard which he was a passenger.
