The first of two craft purchased by Black Sun Lieutenant Chir'daki, the Lethan is a Delta-7 Aethersprite Interceptor, so named because of the integrated Astromech unit built into it's hull: R4-L10. Due to the odd accent of the salesmen from whom Chir'daki bought the craft, the latter half of the droid's designation sounded similar to the Twi'leki word, which refers to an extremely rare shade of red skin pigmentation that is highly desirable amongst Twi'lek slaves.
Because the Lethan is not itself capable of entering Hyperspace, it is forced to rely on Chir'daki's other ship - the Rutian - for transport.
