One of the post-Endor squadrons to be formed by the Rebel Alliance, the Prowlers were equipped with the RZ-1 A-Wing Interceptor. They were assigned to hit-and-run operations along the Hydian Way, disrupting Imperial shipping lanes, and in particular attempting to counter the efforts to maintain secure trade routes with the Corporate Sector.
Following the deployment of the Challenger - a Venator Star Destroyer - to escort and protect a convoy of Jedi survivors known as The Wheel, Prowler Squadron was redeployed as part of the Star Destroyer's fighter compliment.
Behind the Scenes
The name of the squadron - and the logo used - is derrived from the Peacekeepers of the Farscape television series.
