The New Jedi Council was a Jedi roleplaying group that came into existence on TheHolo.Net (then named SW-Fans.Net) in 2001. It was created as a result of a split that had occurred within the Greater Jedi Order which resulted in a small group of roleplayers leaving the group and establishing their own separate Jedi order.
The New Jedi Council lasted as a rival Jedi group for a few months.
