Lieutenant Tristan Tahmores
Tristan Tahmores is a Junior Lieutenant in the Imperial Navy. He currently serves as a Tactical Officer aboard the Kalidor, coordinating the operations of the Strike Cruiser's various fighter units. His brother is Aiden Tahmores, one of Empress Tarkin's personal guard; his father is Ethan Tahmores, a senior member of the Imperial Security Bureau.
Officer of the Empire

When Tristan was born, the Galactic Republic had already been reformed under Palpatine's New Order into the first Galactic Empire for several years. His father had been an enthusiastic supporter of Palpatine during the Clone Wars, and had gone on to serve with COMPNOR and the Imperial Security Bureau; as such, Tristan and his brother Aiden were raised in an environment where loyalty to Palpatine and his Empire was paramount, and where service to the Imperial cause - via the military - was the epitomy of what either brother should aspire to.
Aiden had been the first to be old enough to apply for the Imperial Academy and, to their father's pleasure, was accepted for training into the elite ranks of the TIE Pilots. Unfortunately, problems during training saw Aiden fail some of the required aptitude tests, and saw him wash out of Fighter training, ultimately qualifying as a Shuttle Pilot instead. While still proud that his son had made it through training at all, Ethan Tahmores was still disappointed at the less-than-glamorous occupation of his eldest son. Desperate for his father's approval, Tristan was determined to do better.
Dedicating himself to his academic studies, Tristan set his sights even higher, hoping to one day become the Captain of a Star Destroyer. As part of a scheme by COMPNOR, Tristan was able to secure an apprenticeship aboard an Imperial Frigate in the Doldur Sector fleet, where he was trained as a Junior Communications Officer. With bridge experience already under his belt, he qualified for the Academy with ease, initially accepted for further Communications training; however, after impressing his instructors he was eventually reassessed and streamed as a Tactical Officer.
Tristan's first assignment after graduation saw him as a Junior Tactical Officer aboard the Warspite, an Imperial Star Destroyer assigned to the Bothawui Sector, and under the command of a former classmate of Tristan's father: Captain Leroy Ellis. His role there saw him coordinating with the two TIE Bomber Squadrons that provided ground attack and missile support for the remainder of the Air Group.

Aboard the Kalidor
|
Following the Battle of Bothawui, the Warspite was redeployed to serve as the personal courier of Ambassador Ceto Rübezahl. Knowing such an uneventful assignment would hamper Tristan's promotion prospects, Ellis pulled some strings and secured him an assignment to the Strike Cruiser Kalidor, as the ship's main Tactical Officer.
