Established under the Galactic Republic, Ubrikkian Repulsorlift Manufacturing began as the company that produced repulsorlift drives and technology for Ubrikkian Transports. Over time the business has expanded, and now oversees the design and production of all repulsorcraft for Ubrikkian Industries, ranging from affordable utility craft to military transports and luxury airspeeders.

After obtaining a contract to produce the Talon I Combat Cloud Car for the Bespin Wing Guard, Ubrikkian Repulsorlift established a small production facility on Cloud City.

Following the acquisition of Ubrikkian Industries by the Ouishii Kajidic, Ubrikkian Repulsorlift Manufacturing was granted licenses to produce a variety of other designs from companies also owned by the Kajidic, including Rothana Heavy Engineering, and Baktoid Armor Workshop. Designs that had been developed as Imperial military contracts meanwhile were transferred to Rothana Heavy Engineering.
