==General==
Redención House is a ten bedroom house owned by [[Anna Fernandez]]. ''Redención'' is Spanish for '''redemption''', and she named it so because it is a place of second chances.  It is a non-profit run by Anna, which exists on various private grants and donations.  Making the house payment is always a challenge, but Anna somehow seems to make it work.

<blockquote>The doors were open for any mutant young person who happened to be nearby and in need. If you calculated in floor space and couches, she could house up to twenty-five people, and sometimes did. The local police knew her well, and had referred several mutant runaways or other kids in need to her over the few years she'd been running the house.

The rules were few, and simple. Everyone was welcome, no matter their mutation, as long as it was safe for the other residents. All gang stuff was forbidden, and would get a kid kicked out quickly if he started posturing or fighting with the other residents. No drugs. And if you were school age you had to attend school. There was a bus stop at the end of the street. Anna had an old Dodge van that would seat twelve that she drove everywhere, and would often take her kids out on 'field trips' on the weekends.</blockquote>

===House History===
The house was originally built (and lived in) by a citrus baron who was responsible for the founding of Los Santos in the 1940s.  Over time the orange orchards were built over and the area, once proud, began to decline.  The house changed hands a few times, and the neighborhood that had sprung up around it began to be known as a bad part of town.  In 2005 Anna Fernandez made an offer on the worn down house, and was accepted.  Her brothers, mainly [[Alonso Fernandez]], helped her make it livable again, and Redención House was founded.

In late August 2009, during the Registration Riots, the House was structurally damaged and deemed unlivable by the state. In November 2009 the non-profit organization was officially closed, and Redención House was no more.

==Layout==
Please use these blueprints to imagine what the inside of the House looks like.  The House is more cramped than it appears here, but the relation of rooms to each other is what is important.  Thank you to [[Dragon]] for these (and [[Anna Fernandez]] who got him started).

===First floor===

The first floor contains a foyer, family/living room, small study, half bath, a master bedroom suite (outfitted with two twin beds, currently unoccupied), kitchen with pantry and island, breakfast nook, formal dining room, utility room, and laundry room.  Stairs lead up to the second floor.

===Second Floor===

The second floor holds the second master suite and six other bedrooms (one larger room was converted to two bedrooms, each holding a bunk bed), and several bathrooms.  Stairs lead down to the main floor and up into the attic area.

===Attic===

Redencion's attic has been converted to hold two small bedrooms, but a third of it still is used for storage. There are still items in there from many of the previous owners.

===Backyard===
Behind the house is a half-acre lawn, and two car sized garage is nestled at the back of the property, a graveled driveway stretching out to Banyon Street along the right side of the house.  Opposite the garage was a spacious year-round vegetable garden bursting with tomatoes, corn, peppers, and a variety of vegetables, depending on the season.

The whole yard was surrounded by a tall, wooden fence, and there are a few palmettos at the edges of the property.  A small alley runs along the backside of the property, full of potholes and sometimes homeless people. There is a large shady oak tree that is growing just behind the garage, shading the it and prompting eternal discussion about a possible tree house.
