If you want some experience in the field, she could be sent to Corellia to shadow Alexia. It's a dangerous urban warzone but I'm sure there are "safer" things they could do. If you are wishing to further develop her mind reading/telepathic powers, Alexia is a proficient telepath and telekinetic. As mentioned, Alexia is on Corellia, where she is station to root out the new Rebellion.
I think her being sent to Alexia may be a good thing, then, all the way around. With learning to be a Knight as well as Alexia discovering her horrible inability to control her 'gift' maybe the shadowing will be a lot more beneficial than she believes.
